As you can probably tell from the title of this post, I went a little crazy in LUSH recently and bought a bunch stuff I haven't tried before, mostly bath bombs but a bubble bar and a bath oil snuck in there too!
This was quite a large haul for me but I really wanted to invest in my bath time. I've been enjoying some home yoga recently and relaxing in a bath afterwards is amazing and really helping me sleep.
So what better excuse to enable myself into a cheeky LUSH purchase immiright?
Pink Flamingo Bubblebar £5.95
Not only does this gorgeous bird look amazing it actually smells amazing too. It smells like a cocktail and makes the bath a very cute baby pink, I've used this one already and you probably can't even tell from the photo, so I'm hoping this lasts me a while.
The Experimenter Bath Bomb £3.95
This is a cult product from LUSH and I can completely understand why, the colours are just stunning and smells of vanilla (my all time favourite) so it's no wonder this is such a popular product. I've seen clips of this fizzing in the bath and it looks beautiful, I do plan on breaking this in two, I want to make it last longer, why have one when you can have two..right?
Floating Island Luxury Bath Oil £2
I have to say I fell immediately in love with this product as soon as I smelt it. It smells like white chocolate with it's shea butter and vanilla pod mixture, I'm not entirely sure when I'll use this product as it seems like quite a heavy duty little item but I'm sure I'll pluck up the courage to use it at some point!

Honey Bee Bath Bomb £3.50
This is a very subtle smelling bath bomb which I really like as some of the others can be quite overwhelming but this is sweet smelling, I thought this has vanilla in it (seeing the theme here?) but it's just the honey smell that attracted me to it!
Twilight Bath Bomb £3.50
I was drawn to this by the name, yep closet Twilight fan here (not any more!) but when I was told it was blue inside too, I was sold by it. This smells really nicely of Lavender which I imagine would be amazing in a bath before bed time.
Avobath Bath Bomb £3.50

Avobath Bath Bomb £3.50
This smells of avocado and citrus and it smells amazing! I love citrus smells in the bathroom, I think it really helps wake you up. I'm excited about using this one because the smell is the least sweet out of all of them which makes me think it'll be one of my favourites.
Blackberry Bath Bomb £3.35
I really love this smell, I think it's the same as the comforter or very similar so very sweet and lovely. I'm excited about using this because I love purple, imagine the instagram photos!

I know this was quite a long one but I felt a little (very) spendy and really just went for it. I'm probably going to be shunned from the LUSH community but I plan on breaking all of these bath bombs up into two so I can get so much more use out of them for my money. I just can't justify spending £4 a go on a bath so I'm going to try and make them last as long as possible.
If you are interested in LUSH skincare I've written about my current face routine so take a look if you fancy that.
If you've made it to the end of this post, well done! and if you feel like you have some amazing LUSH recommendations that I would love, please drop me a comment and I'll be sure to check it out!

I know what you mean about wanting to make the bath bombs last as long as you can! They are expensive for just one use. The Experimenter is one of my favourites, too! x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x
ReplyDeleteTwilight is probably my favourite bath bomb, I love the smell so much, I really love Avobath as well! Uugh I could just bathe in Lush products all day long!
