Nick and I went out for dinner and thought we'd try somewhere new. I'd heard a few people talk about Smoke Barbecue in Sheffield and we finally got around to trying it out!
Coming here was a no brainer really, Nick loves pulled pork and seeing as this has become the new 'thing' its more readily available.
When we arrived we were really impressed by the interior, interiors are my kryptonite! The raw industrial look with the metal pipes exposed and the brick work was a winner with me and I thought the barrel tables were a little novelty but they fitted the theme quite well.

After looking around at what other people had ordered and seeing that the food portions were pretty huge I opted to go for a pulled pork Pit Plate, that comes with fries and a side of your choice, I chose coleslaw and Nick opted for Pulled Pork Burger, a beef burger topped with pulled pork. We had a great view of the kitchen waiting for our food, we could see them adding water to the fires which gave out plumes of smoke which gave the smoky flavour to the meat.

Food arrived super quickly and we couldn't wait to dig in. I have to say this was probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. The pork was sweet, smoky and succulent, the portion size was huge and I think these are the crispiest fries I've ever tasted, I couldn't even eat it all!
Nick loved his burger and added extra smoky BBQ sauce, which was also very tasty, he even finished off my dish after his!
I highly recommend this place and no this isn't a sponsored post, I came here off my own back!
The food portions were huge and a fairly decent price at around £10 per person, you don't pay that much less at cheaper chain pubs etc which in my opinion has much lower quality of food. The food was incredibly tasty which is exactly what you'd expect at a place like this. I really think if you are a chip/fries lover you should go here just for the crispy fries and any BBQ/Pulled meat lover would really get a good decent experience here.
I can't wait to go back here on a date night and try out more of the menu!
Please let me know what you think if you head down for a chow down.

I've been here before and my boyfriend and I shared a platter & it was amazing. The food is so good, although the service let me down. I can't wait to go back though, it's so yum.
