5 Product Face.

I have been seeing a few people recently doing 5 product faces and I thought I'd give it a bash. This was surprisingly easy for me to do as I don't usually wear tonnes of different products on my face. I have my favourites and I tend to stick to them although I am learning to branch out a bit more now days.

I'm not including tools here because lets be honest it wouldn't be much fun! But if people would like to see what brushes etc I use please let me know and I'll put together a post for that.

So lets dive in!

I'll start with my base, which everyone will probably know by now is my NARS Sheer Glow in Mont Blanc. I won't bang on about it too much but its a great foundation, great colour match and covers my redness really well. It is more of a dewy finish so needs to be set with powder if you get oily, but is great coverage.

My next pick is a bronzer, I have the Rimmel Sun Shimmer in Light Matte, which I use to contour my face and to just gently dust all over. I picked this because you could contour your face and set your foundation with this if you really wanted to, so it's a kind of duel product. I'm pretty sure if you really wanted to you could also use this for your brows or as eye shadow also.

My third pick is a blusher, which, on second thought I probably could have lived with out and put in a lipstick but, so be it. This is a MAC powder blush in Pinch o' peach, I've had this since forever and use it pretty much everyday and haven't made a dent in it. It can be used very lightly or be really built up but it's a lovely colour.

My fourth choice has to be my brows, my eyebrows are naturally really blonde so without my eye brows I look a little odd. I think if I were to pick just one thing on my face to do, it would be my brows. I would usually use my Soap and Glory Archery pencil with the spooly and then set it with a clear gel, but the pencil is just fine on its own. I have the medium brown colour which is fine, I might actually pick up the darker colour next time as I'm liking a darker brow at the minute.

Then my final product is a mascara, again I have very naturally light eyelashes, so mascara really helps open up and define my eyes. Once again I've picked Maybelline's Lash Sensational, this mascara has been compared a lot with the Benefit Roller Lash because of the wand, which you can see in the photo below. I really like this mascara, it lengthens and defines my lashes without clumping. I've actually repurchased this but I'm not sure if I should try something new next but that's another story. 

So that's it, its a pretty good standard face but covers all bases pretty well. I think the only thing I would trade out here would be the blusher for a lipstick, but I don't use lipstick everyday, so it's not really too much of a problem for me.
