Fashion: A week in outfits.

Saturday 30 May 2015

I thought I'd do a 'Week In Style' kind of post this week. I'm lucky enough to work in an industry where I can wear what I want to work, so these are genuine outfits I wear all day. My own personal style varies quite drastically between girly/cute to very 'comfy' and almost tom boyish and you can see this even in the next 5 photos!

I do realise that there are only 5 photos, but I usually don't do anything on a weekend so you don't want to see me sat around in my PJ's so it's more a 'working week'.

I'm trying to be brave with posting pictures of myself, so this is out of my comfort zone, so be nice!

I hope you enjoy!

Rimmel Foundations Reviews.

Wednesday 27 May 2015

After banging on about my NARS Sheer Glow I felt like I should give some high street foundations a go to see if there are any other foundations out there for much cheaper that I've been missing out on.

My skin has been going more oily recently so I wanted something a little more matte to keep shine at bay so I headed into my local boots to see what was on offer. I picked up 2 from Rimmel so carry on reading to see how I got on.

Travel : Cyprus.

Monday 25 May 2015
At the beginning of April we went on holiday with my finances family to Cyprus. Nicks nan has lived there for years now and I finally got to go out there and explore the beautiful place. As this post is quite picture heavy I'm just going to give a brief description of what we did each day, most of the photos are scenic I'm not one to take pictures of all the meals I ate, I'm far more interesting in eating them! I hope you enjoy this post and hope it inspires you to take a trip out there, it really is beautiful. x

~

The first day we arrived very early in the morning and went straight to bed! When we all awoke next morning we explored the 8 person villa! After some breakfast/lunch, Nick and I visiting his grandmother who lived just around the corner to enjoy some chats, tea and sunshine. We ate at a restaurant that night in Polis that the family had been going to for years, the food was great, I had chicken and Nick got a taste for steak...

Visiting family and admiring the view from the front garden!

Just relaxing and soaking it up by the pool.

Potential Summer Outfits.

Saturday 23 May 2015

I was having a play around on Polyvore and put together a few outfits I would wear over the summer.  I've mixed it up with a couple of girly outfits and a couple more casual, as I like to switch it up.
This has totally made me want to go clothes shopping, sigh.

Hope you enjoy :)

First Impressions: Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm.

Thursday 21 May 2015
ASOS had a beauty sale recently that had a decent 30% off, so I went on the hunt from some things to try. I came across the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm and had seen a few YouTubers talk about it, so I picked up the 20g travel size for about £6.

Label Lust : Charlotte Tilbury

Tuesday 19 May 2015
I'm not really sure where Charlotte Tilbury came from, but she seems to be everywhere at the moment and all I know is that I have some serious label lust.

Brand First Impression: Soap&Glory

Sunday 17 May 2015

I saw that  Soap&Glory were 3 for 2 in my local boots store. So seeing as I've never touched a product by the brand, it was a great way to try a few for slightly cheaper and give my first overall impressions on the brand.

The products I've gone for are aimed towards body skincare, as I feel I have a good routine set now with my facial skincare so I thought it's about time I branched out to the rest of my bod.

Fashion: High waisted skirt and crop top.

Friday 15 May 2015
As a curvier girl that is slightly taller than average, I have always shied away from even remotely different outfits. I was recently searching through Pinterest and came across a girl wearing a knee length high waisted skirt and a crop top and I loved the way the outfit looked.

*Cringe*

Top 3 Perfumes.

When it comes to perfumes we all have our own taste, I personally like something a little sweet, fruity or floral. I have to admit I was never really into perfume but as time goes on I find myself sniffing out new smells to add to my collection. So I'll just go right ahead and give you my top 3 favourite scents.

First Impressions: First Aid Beauty - Facial Radiance Pads

Monday 11 May 2015
I recently found Caroline Hirons blog and all I can say is, I wish I found this WAY sooner in life. Caroline seems to know pretty much everything about skin care, she's very qualified and her family have been in the business for 3 generations!

Recent Repurchases May 2015.

Sweet allure Recent Repurchases May 2015 liz earle cleanse and polish nars sheer glow mont blanc

We all know we've stumbled across a good product when we think about re-purchasing something. You're coming to the end of the bottle or pot and you begin to panic about what you'll do when it eventually runs out. So here are a couple of products I've repurchased recently and why they deserve another buy.

Disappointing Product: Barry M Speedy Quick Dry.

Thursday 7 May 2015
If you saw my Spring Nails post, you'll know I've been into painting my nails a lot recently. I heard via the beauty grapevine that Barry M had brought out a bunch of new colours in their 'Speedy Quick Dry' range.

Now, first of all, I love the packaging, the little racing grid pattern on the lid is super cute and the names are all racing themed, how fun? The applicator is flatter with a rounded tip to fit the nail shape easier and the range of colours were good, so I went ahead and purchased 'Full Throttle', a peachy orange colour, something a little different for me.

April Favourites 2015

Sunday 3 May 2015
So April has been an eventful month for me. I spent the first week in beautiful, sunny Cyprus where I got engaged to my now Fiancé Nick, so that clearly is my favourite thing this month, (along with my dreamy ring!) but lets go ahead and talk about my April beauty and fashion favourites.

Spring Nails

Saturday 2 May 2015
When doing my rounds in my local Boots store, I've been findng myself hovering around the nail polish section more so than usual.

Now, I've always been a short nails kind of gal, but recently I grew my nails out to make the most of my first gel nail treatment and i've been loving the longer nail look. I have quite small hands and I find that the longer nails makes my hands look longer and well, more 'normal' sized.
